Siemens Real Estate

Siemens Real Estate project consisted of an extensive renovation to approximately 136,000 S.F. of an existing, Class A office building in Minnetonka, Minnesota. This project included significant mechanical and electrical infrastructure upgrades throughout the existing facility. A few significant components of the project included 34,000 S.F. of computer testing lab space and two stand alone data centers all complete with redundant power and fiber optic communications systems. Additional structural steel systems were designed and installed to support two new 90 ton air handling units installed within the fifth floor of the building and the new cooling tower equipment installed on the facility's roof.

The existing tenant in the facility operated under a highly secure environment; an environment that had to be maintained throughout the duration of the project. This mandate by the existing tenant, and the building owner was met as we completed the $6 million dollar project in approximately four months and under original budget established for the project.
