Global North

Global North is a 27,497 SF new stand alone building that was built for an international office furniture company. It houses Global's Minnesota based showroom, office and warehouse. This distinct building has curved walls, varying elevations and uses unique materials for the exterior architecture. The building material consists of 12" insulated pre-cast panels with a 4'x 4' stamped pattern with exposed aggregate for the showroom and warehouse; steel studs with metal siding for the office area; and exposed structural steel and metal decking for the front canopy. The project began in December 2003 and was complete and occupied by July 2004. The building design and choice of material was derived through Anderson Builders and the Design Team working together to successfully value engineer the design to meet the client's desired look and their budget. This project was provided to our client, Global North, through a negotiated lump sum contract.
